National Windscreens directors expand roles within global Cary Group

Three board members of National Windscreens have been appointed to board roles within Cary Group, the global car care services provider. Mike Rotin becomes UK group managing director, Mark Payne is UK group operations director and Vicki Riddell is UK group finance director.

Cary Group represents approximately 80% of National Windscreens total revenue and these appointments are announced as part of a transformation programme that the company say will deliver a customer experience that has never been experienced before in this UK sector. The appointments will facilitate standardisation throughout the UK operations, optimising purchasing and distribution whilst creating opportunities for sharing global best practice.

Mike Rotin explains: “Artificial intelligence technology, developed by the Cary Group for glass damage assessment, is already delivering a great customer experience on the National Windscreens website. This is just one example of the shared technology benefits we can expect to deliver to the UK market as part of the global Cary Group.

“We are also able to tap into Cary Group resources and expertise that are delivering world class programmes in areas such as ESG (Environmental Social Governance) and a commitment to the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative). The bottom line is that our closer alignment with the Cary Group means National Windscreens will be able to set new standards for this sector that I have no doubt will delight our customers,” concludes Mike.
